On Wednesday the 26th of April,  Jack Carr represented Staughton College at the School Sports Victoria State Swimming Championships. Jack had previously qualified through the Western Ranges Division in 5 events.

Swimming Jack is now the Victorian 16 Years State Champion in 50m Freestyle, Butterfly and Backstroke! He placed 2nd in the 200m Individual Medley and 50m Breaststroke.

 Official Results:

1st Place: Boys 16 Years Freestyle (25.10seconds)

1st Place: Boys 16 Years Butterfly (26.74seconds)

1st Place: Boys 16 Years Backstroke (29.37seconds)

2nd Place: Boys 16 Years Breaststroke (32.38seconds)

2nd Place: Boys 16 Years 200 I.M (4mins 20 seconds)

 Jack has recently returned from Nationals in Brisbane over the school holidays where he competed in the 2017 Georgina Hope Foundation Australian Age Swimming Championships. Jack placed 8th in the 16 Years Male 50m Freestyle with a time of 24.36seconds.

Well done and congratulations Jack on your fantastic results. Your hard work and perseverance have done yourself and the College proud.
